……Allon throughout the Years…..
Well, maybe not from the very beginning, as our fascinating story begins when Jimmy Carter was the U.S. President. Allon had just completed three years of military service in the Israeli Air Force, so quite naturally, he soon found himself…..driving throughout Europe.
The highlights of that trip? An unforgettable David Bowie concert in Rotterdam and the Swedish Grand Prix!
After the novelty of travel abroad wore off, he made his way to Miami-Dade College in Florida, but it was only a matter of time until he realized that typical college studies were not for him. He returned to his native Tel Aviv, enrolled in a Hotel Management program and in 1984 graduated from the “ Technion ” – Israel’s Institute of Technology.
The year is 1985: Ronald Reagan is now President, and Allon is summoned to Las Vegas, Nevada by the owner of the Riviera Hotel and Casino. He joins the hotel’s Food & Beverage team…. just as the “Riv” files for Chapter 11 reorganization. Despite the obvious financial hardships, the F & B, Sales and Casino departments in the Riveira work tirelessly in unison for two years, and the hotel successfully emerges out of bankruptcy.
Our story moves to….1990; and George H. Bush is President. Allon leaves the hotel business, partners with his (now ex-) wife in the Real Estate field, and within one year establishes himself as one of the top producers in Las Vegas. He branches out into Property Management; with an emphasis in investment properties.
We have reached: 1994. Bill Clinton is enjoying his first term in office, and Allon becomes co-owner/manager of “ Oaktree Realty & Property Management “. While the business still represents individual buyers and sellers, it also specializes in two main areas: the purchasing & selling of investment real estate holdings, and the management of properties. This fruitful partnership lasts ten years, until the company is split between the partners.
It’s 2004: George W. Bush is Commander-in-Chief in Washington, but in Nevada, with a management portfolio of over 500 properties, Allon forms a new company – “Continental Realty & Property Management”.
We’re almost at the end of Allon’s story! It’s 2010; Barack Obama’s first term, and the real estate climate in Las Vegas has changed markedly. Allon merges Continental Realty with a another firm, creating United Consolidated Real Estate Services. While maintaining his property management tasks and serving of individual buyers and sellers, Allon and UCRES become involved in the Asset Management of large properties that are owned by some of the country’s largest banks.
Today Allon continues to do what he does best — representing individual buyers, sellers and investors, as well as managing properties — all with his newly-established company Las Vegas Origin; which operates under the license of Pangea Properties & Management.
